Comparative Phytochemical Analysis and Mineral Profile of Rosa damascene and Rosa centifolia
نویسندگان
چکیده
The present study was mainly focused to analyse the phytochemical, biochemical quantification and mineral profile of dried rose petals Rosa damascena centifolia. Quantitative analysis carbohydrates, protein, phenol qualitative phytochemical were carried out in aqueous ethanolic extract centifolia using standard procedures. From it can be interpreted that preliminary petal showed positive results many tests namely carbohydrate, flavonoid, glycosides alkaloids. Nutrient composition R. damascene contain protein phenol. highest amount carbohydrate (448.70 mg GL /gm), Protein (312.33mg BSA/gm) (287.42 GAE/gm) observed lowest (100.22 (170.17mg BSA (245.45mg Mineral following parameters such as Nitrogen, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Chloride, Iron, Sodium, Sulphate determined quantified. In conclusion, presence nutrients considered first reports major proteins some minerals strongly recommended for human diet intake.

متن کاملHydrosols of orange blossom (Citrus aurantium), and rose flower (Rosa damascena and Rosa centifolia) support the growth of a heterogeneous spoilage microbiota.
Hydrosols are hydrodistillation products of aromatic plants. They contain less than 1g/L of dispersed essential oils giving organoleptic properties. Hydrosols are subjected to microbial proliferation. Reasons for spoilage have to be found in the nature of substrates supporting growth and of microbiological contaminants. The composition in essential oils and the microbiota of 22 hydrosol samples...
متن کاملCytotoxic and genotoxic studies of essential oil from Rosa damascene Mill., Kashan, Iran.
Aim Rosa damascene Mill. belongs to the family of Roseaceae and its essential oil is produced in large amounts in Iran. The wide application of rose oil has raised questions about potential adverse health effects. We have investigated cytotoxic activity and genotoxic effects of Rosa oil from Kashan, Iran. Methods The cytotoxic effect and IC50 of the essential oil on the cell lines was studied f...
